MENTORING FOR MEMBERS PROGRAM 2011/2012
Statement of Purpose:
A program to enhance HRPYR members’ (Mentees) knowledge of Human Resources practices by partnering them with experienced Human Resources professionals (Mentors) from the HRPYR chapter of the HRPA. The Mentors will share expert knowledge and advice, coach, counsel and encourage the Mentees who are currently in earlier stages of their HR careers or earlier stages of their development with respect to particular areas of HR expertise.
Program Expectations and Measurement Criteria:
At HRPYR, mentoring is organized as an annual program, which typically launches in late September and winds up the following May.

A written learning plan is established at the beginning of the relationship and partners complete an assessment of progress at the end of the program with feedback and results forwarded to the Mentoring Committee. Over the course of the program, partners experience ongoing communication and updates between the partners and HRPYR Mentoring Committee.
