Cancellation Policy
Due to the consistently high number of members who register for HRPYR events and then don’t show up, the HRPYR Board has decided to implement a Cancellation Policy in order to curb costs. As of January 1, 2006 the following Cancellation Policy will apply.
In the event that the need arises to cancel your registration for a meeting, we require notice by voice or email at least 72 hours prior to the function. Notification must be received via the registration telephone number (Toll-free: 866-977-9975; or 416-483-2070) or event registration email address meetings@hrpyr.org.
For our NO CHARGE EVENTS, cancellations of less than 72 hours will be subject to a $25 administration charge. All no show members or guests will also be subject to a $25 administration charge.
For our CHARGED EVENTS, cancellations received more than 72 hours in advance of the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations of less than 72 hours will be subject to an administration charge equal to 50% of the event fee (minimum of $25). All NO SHOW members or guests will not be eligible for refunds.
Please be aware that poor weather is not an acceptable excuse for not attending. While we do understand that your well-being is a priority, HRPYR still must pay for our guaranteed attendance. Hardship cases, such as family emergencies, will be reviewed on an individual basis.
