Invitation to form Affinity Partnership and Process
 
HRPYR invites forprofit entities submit proposals for consideration to be named an affinity partner. Proposals must include the following elements:
 
  1. a detailed description of the benefit to HRPYR members and the process by which HRPYR members can receive the benefit;
  2. a statement that there are no current or future costs to HRPYR;
  3. a timeframe for the proposed partnership, with a minimum of 12 months (one year agreement); and
  4. a primary company contact (phone and email)
 
The HRPYR Marketing Committee evaluates all proposals, and submits as necessary those that meet basic criteria to the HRPYR Chapter Board of Directors to review.  All approved proposals are governed by a written agreement signed by both parties.
 
Criteria for Affinity Partnerships
 
HRPYR considers several factors when evaluating potential Affinity Partnerships, including the following:
 
·         Organization and products or services offered are consistent with the professional image of the HRPYR and its membership;
·         Product and services must be offered to all members of the HRPYR , and should be easily accessible to all members;
·         Products and services are provided by an organization with a reputation for quality and service; 
·         Products and services be marketed to members under an approved marketing plan that would exclude marketing through telephone or direct mail;
·         Products and services offered to members will not, in most instances, involve contractual arrangements which must undergo attorney review
·         The degree to which the company’s products and services support HRPYR’s mission and goals,
·         Whether the company’s proposed service or products to HRPYR members adds demonstrated value to the association’s current membership offerings,
·         That the potential partnership poses no risk to HRPYR in terms of human or financial resources,
·         That, in most cases, the HRPYR receives remuneration; and that the company who is applying for the Affinity Partnership relationship has chosen one of the following outlined Affinity Partner arrangements with the HRPYR and its membership:
 
          I.    Proposed service and/or product results in a minimum discount of 30 % to HRPYR members (yearly administrative/marketing charge waived), or;
        II.    Proposed service and/or product results in a minimum discount of 20 % to HRPYR members plus a yearly payment charge of $2000 (plus tax) for administration and marketing, or;
       III.    Proposed service and or product results in a minimum discount of 10 percent to HRPYR members, plus a yearly payment charge of $3500 (plus tax) for administration and marketing, or;
      IV.    Presented an alternative and creative proposal to be considered and reviewed by Marketing Committee or discuss with the Business Development Director of the HRPYR prior to submission. 
 
In addition, HRPYR reserves the right to enter into Affinity Partnerships with forprofit
entities that provide the same products and service as existing affinity partners; HRPYR will not develop exclusive agreements with any affinity partner. Other stipulations and conditions may apply.
 
 
Impact of Affinity Partnership for Business Entities
 
HRPYR will provide the following marketing benefits to Affinity Partners:
 
  • a one-time, one-page description (provided by Affinity Partner and approved by Business Development Director) and announcement of the Affinity Partner’s program sent to all HRPYR’s member emails – distribution to over 1000 Professional Members (per annual partnership) – timing of the distribution of email shall be at the discretion of the Director of Administration
  • announcement and recognition of the affinity partnership at Professional Development sessions and in E-Connections, HRPYR’s enewsletter that is distributed to over 1,000 Professional Members; E-Connections is distributed 3-4 times per year;
  • a notice of the partnership on the Affinity Partners Program section of HRPYR’s Website, and;
  • as distributed, inclusion in additional marketing initiatives to new HRPYR members
